As we begin a brand-new school year, I am filled with excitement and gratitude to be joining the North Jackson Elementary family as your principal. Thank you to everyone who attended Open House! It was wonderful to see our hallways filled with smiling faces, excited students, and supportive families. The enthusiasm and sense of community were truly inspiring, and I loved having the opportunity to meet so many of you.
This year's theme, "Writing Our Next Chapter at North Jackson," reminds us that every child is the author of their own story. Each day at school, our students will write new chapters filled with learning, growth, perseverance, kindness, and unforgettable memories. Together, we will help them build a story they can be proud of.
Families play an important role in helping write that story, too. Reading together, talking about your child's day, celebrating successes, encouraging perseverance through challenges, and partnering with your child's teacher all help shape the chapters of their educational journey. When home and school work together, our students have the greatest opportunity to succeed.
I am excited to partner with each of you as we support your children throughout this school year. My goal is to build strong relationships with our students, families, and community while ensuring every child feels valued, challenged, and loved. I look forward to getting to know each of our Panthers and celebrating their accomplishments along the way.
North Jackson is such a special place, and after experiencing the excitement of Open House, I can already see the pride that exists within this school community. I am incredibly proud of our students, our staff, and our families, and I am honored to serve as the principal of North Jackson Elementary. I can't wait to see all that we will accomplish as we write our next chapter together!
