A Note From Administration

Panther Families,
Thank you for an incredible start to the school year! We had a fantastic turnout at Tuesday’s Open House, and it’s been such a joy to welcome our students back on campus. The energy in the building has been contagious, and we’re so glad to have our Panthers back where they belong—at North Jackson Elementary School!
Our teachers and staff have done a phenomenal job connecting with students, teaching routines and expectations, and creating engaging, joyful learning environments. These first few days are all about laying the foundation for a successful year, and we’re off to a strong start. As we move forward, we’re committed to making learning exciting, challenging, and full of opportunities for growth.
A Few Important Morning Reminders:
  • 🚗 Car Rider Drop-Off Begins at 7:00 AM.

  • 🚌 Bus unloading begins at 7:10 AM.

  • 🕰️ School starts promptly at 7:40 AM.

  • ⛔ Car rider drop-off ends at 7:38 AM so our staff can safely transition inside and be ready for the instructional day.

  • ⏰ Students arriving after 7:40 AM are marked tardy.

Please help us get each day off to a smooth start by arriving early enough for your child to get inside, unpack, and be ready to learn by 7:40 sharp. Every minute matters!
Also, go ahead and mark your calendars for our upcoming Back-to-School Bash on Thursday, August 21st at 6:00 PM here at NJES! This event is a great opportunity to learn more about what’s happening at school, hear updates from your child’s teacher, and connect with other Panther families.
We’re looking forward to an amazing year ahead. If you ever have questions or need support, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s keep the momentum going—Go Panthers!
Warm regards,
Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Terry
