As we move into May, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support. Student success does not happen in isolation — it takes a strong partnership between school and home. Your engagement, encouragement, and involvement are critical, and we are deeply grateful for all you do to support our students, faculty, and staff.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at NJES! Please join us in recognizing and celebrating our amazing teachers and staff who pour their hearts into making a difference every single day. A kind note, a simple thank you, or a small gesture of appreciation can go a long way.
We are also closing out state testing this week for grades 3–5. Students will take the Math sections on Monday, May 5th and Tuesday, May 6th. Meanwhile, students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will complete their MAP assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Thursday evening, May 8th, we are excited to host our Kindergarten Kickoff from 5:30–6:30 PM here at NJES. We look forward to welcoming our newest Panthers and their families as they begin their journey with us. This event is open to any rising kindergartener who will be attending NJES next year.
Finally, we are quickly approaching the end of the school year. Every day counts — let's make these final weeks strong! Please continue to prioritize your student's attendance and stay focused on finishing the year with energy and pride.
We are NJES strong — and we are stronger because of YOU.
