It is almost time for our annual Book Character Dress Up Day! Students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favorite BOOK character to walk in our school parade. Awards will be given to the best boy and girl costumes in each grade. This is always a highlight as we close our the month of February and NJES Loves Reading!

North Jackson Elementary School and the Jackson County School System's 2025-26 Pre-K Lottery Registration opens on Sunday, Dec. 1. Registration for the lottery does not guarantee placement into the state-funded program. For more information and to apply online, visit www.jacksonschoolsga.org/prek.

It was an exciting week for our PBIS team last week! Jackson county school district conducted a walk-through of our building to recognize the work we have put into our PBIS program. They recognized the many initiatives we have put in place to recognize students going above and beyond our behavioral expectations (P.A.W.S.). As a reminder, we will be having our third quarterly reward party on March 6th to celebrate student’s hard work in. This will be an ice cream social. Students will need to pay 25 dojos in order to attend this party. Dojos can be earned by going above and beyond our P.A.W.S. expectations. Alternative treats will be provided to students who require them due to allergies/dietary restrictions. We look forward to celebrating our students!
