Dear NJES Families,
This past Friday, we had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special focus on the love of reading. We are so grateful to the many volunteers who took time out of their day to serve as guest readers, sharing their love and passion for books with our students. It was truly inspiring to see our students engaged and excited about reading! We encourage you to continue fostering a love of reading at home by reading with your child and encouraging them to read to you. These shared reading moments are valuable in building lifelong readers and learners!
We are also thrilled to announce that this Thursday evening, we will be hosting our very first BETA Club Induction Ceremony at NJES! The National Beta Club is an academic honor society that recognizes students for their commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service. Our inaugural group of inductees has demonstrated outstanding achievement, and we are so proud of their hard work and dedication. This is just the beginning of what we know will be a long tradition of excellence at NJES, and we look forward to celebrating the successes of our students for years to come.
Thank you for your continued support of our school, and we look forward to another fantastic week at NJES!
Sincerely,
Troy Johnson - Principal NJES

Additionally, please note that balloons and any glass items are not permitted in classrooms or on buses. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Each year, Jackson County School District conducts a walk-through of PBIS schools to ensure expectations are met. Last week we had a successful walk-through hosting guests from other schools. Students were able to share our PAWS expectations and demonstrate how positive behavior creates a safe and successful learning environment!

We sadly have our fearsome twosome Danielle & Samantha graduating out this year after years of amazing dedication. We will have two available positions one for Vice President and one for Treasurer. We would love to have two dedicated parents. We would love to have someone for the Treasurer position who is willing to stay in that position for a few years and has an accounting or financial background. If either of these positions are something you would like to do or if you have any questions please reach out directly to northjacksonpto@gmail.com. We look forward to having you on!
