Dear NJES Families,
As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your partnership in supporting your child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. Your involvement, encouragement and support make a tremendous difference in your child’s success.
We’re also excited to welcome the families who registered to join us for our Thanksgiving meals this Wednesday and Thursday. Sharing this time with you is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together as a school community.
If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for being such a valued part of the NJES family, and warmest wishes for a joyful Thanksgiving holiday!
With sincerest gratitude,
Mr. Troy Johnson - Principal North Jackson Elementary School

Do you have books at home that are not read anymore? Would you like your child to have some "new" books to read? Students may bring any gently used children's books to the library in December for donation to our annual book swap. We will track the number of books for your child. On December 16th, those students will come to the library and select books of their choice based on the number of books they donated.
Book Criteria
Please make choices carefully before donating books. Books should be appropriate for grades PreK-5. Books should be in good condition: cover on, no rips, tears, or bent edges, no coloring or writing. Book may not be coloring books, activity, or sticker books.
Thank you for supporting reading with this exciting event!

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

|
Our next quarterly PBIS reward will be a cookie decorating and winter craft party on December 16th! Students will have the opportunity to buy their tickets for this event using their dojo points and PAWS tokens they earn for going above and beyond. Please help remind your child of the importance of following their PAWS expectations (Pride, Attitude, Work, and Safety) every day. We are asking for donations of icing, sprinkles, and other cookie-decorating supplies. Please submit all donations to the front office. We thank you in advance!
