A Note from Administration
Hello North Jackson Elementary Families,
We’d love for you to be part of our North Jackson Elementary School family in an even bigger way by volunteering at our school! When parents and caregivers pitch in, it not only makes a positive impact in our school  but also shows our students that we’re all rooting for their success.
There are so many ways to get involved—whether it’s reading to a class, helping in the Media Center, keeping an eye on things during recess, or lending a hand to help monitor students in the cafeteria.
You can also support our PTO, where parents work together on everything from fundraising to organizing events that make our school extra special.
Your presence and support mean the world to us and our students. It’s also a great way to stay connected to what’s happening at school and to show your child that their education matters.
Thank you for being such an important part of our community. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you!  If you are interested in volunteering here at North Jackson Elementary School, please take a moment to complete the following survey. https://forms.gle/m8E5vSybqGoGgsAk6

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports
We are excited about hosting our school-wide career day on November 15th! Students will be learning about different career and jobs throughout the week. If you are interested in being a participant, please let your child’s teacher know.
Parents, please be on the lookout for forms regarding our mandatory Child Safety lessons. Jackson County utilizes the Think First and Stay Safe Child Lures Prevention curriculum. These lessons are required by the state, and review important information on how students can stay safe and tell a trusted adult should they ever need help. More information about this program is provided on the form that will be sent home with your child. If you do NOT want your child to participate in these lessons, there is an option to opt them out of participating. Should you have additional questions about this curriculum, or what classroom lessons will look like, please contact the school counselor at sydney.neese@jcss.us. You may also visit the curriculum website at childluresprevention.com.
