About the Assistant Principal
Kristi Terry
I am thrilled to be a part of North Jackson Elementary and have had the honor of serving as the Assistant Principal for the past two years. With 18 years of experience in education, I am passionate about working with students and watching them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Originally from a small town in southeast Georgia, I moved to Jackson County after earning my bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!). I hold a Master's Degree in Special Education from Piedmont College and a leadership certification from the University of West Georgia.
My husband, Jon, and I have three children enrolled in the Jackson County School System. Our family also includes a lively yellow lab named Buddy, who loves to play fetch and keeps us on our toes.
It is an honor to serve as your assistant principal, and I am excited to continue building strong relationships with our students and families. At NJES, our goal is to ensure that every student has a meaningful and successful educational experience that prepares them for a bright future. Please feel free to reach out to me by calling the school or emailing me at kterry@jcss.us with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year! Go Panthers!!
