About the Assistant Principal
Kristi Terry
I’m honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of North Jackson Elementary, a role I’ve proudly held for the past three years. With 19 years of experience in education, I remain deeply passionate about supporting students and watching them grow—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Originally from a small town in southeast Georgia, I moved to Jackson County after earning my bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). I also hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Piedmont College and a leadership certification from the University of West Georgia.
My husband, Jon, and I have three children who attend schools in the Jackson County School System. Our family is rounded out by Buddy, our energetic yellow lab, who loves to play fetch and always keeps us on our toes.
It’s a privilege to be part of the NJES community. I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with our students, families, and staff. Our goal is to ensure that every student experiences success and leaves our school prepared for a bright future. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at (email: kterry@jcss.us) or by calling the school with any questions or concerns.
Here’s to a fantastic school year—Go Panthers!
